WAYS TO RECOVER DATA

Posted By: Sai Srikanth Avadhanula - 05:00

The world of today is completely null without computers. Not only for your personal uses, it is also used as a mode of communication and entertainment. Due to some internal/external problems some important files containing vital information can get deleted from your laptop or PC. In this type of situation you are going to suffer a lot,But what if you knew some tricks to get back those files that you may have lost?
Sounds interesting doesn't it?
So read on to find out more.

Conduct a thorough search
If you cannot find an important file on your laptop/P.C don't just assume it's lost or deleted. Take some time to search through all the disks and drives on your laptop or PC. Here's how you conduct a search. Click on the start option and begin your search. Type out the entire file name or a part of it. This will help you find any kind of file that has that particular word or phrase.
If you did not find the file after these efforts, you can use the auto recovery option to find the file that may be saved in non-default location.

Other modes of recover
  • Double click on Recycle bin which is present on your monitor and then right click on the file that you want to recover and click Restore option
  • If these options do not yield any results you can consider using some recovery soft wares which are free. There are some companies, who have designed various programs in order to recover lost data. Since the company services are rather expensive you should consider using them only if that data you are trying to recover is extremely sensitive.

And there are many free software's present in the internet where you can download them for free and use them

TIP: One of the advantages of cloud storage is that your data is available across multiple platforms (e.g. Windows, Mac, Android, IOS), so in addition to a backup it is great for collaborative working or if you use multiply devices. The ability to access the same data from your desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone means you are always in control.

Cloud storage: Storage space provided by organisations and accessed via the internet. This is now available from a variety of sources and there are well know organisations that provide a reasonable capacity for free!

some of the best cloud storage site are:
  • DROP BOX - 2GB of free storage and 500MB of additional free storage for each friend you get to sign up to the service
  • GOOGLE DRIVE - 15GB of available space is generated when you sign in
  • Microsoft OneDrive - similar to drop box  2GB of free storage and 500MB of additional free storage for each friend you get to sign up to the service
  • Box - 10GB of space for any new account.
  • Amazon Cloud Drive -  5GB of storage

Now that you are secure regarding the websites what about your bank, here are some things to look for:

  •     Make sure that your bank is FDIC insured, check the FDIC website for current information.

HOW SEARCH ENGINE WORKS

Posted By: Sai Srikanth Avadhanula - 12:59
In this modern tech life every person spend more than given time at internet through gadgets, systems, and from many other resources
we get many doubts daily and many questions arises in our brain . Right
we simply use the help of famous search engines to clarify our doubts
even a newly born kid can tell the name of a top most search engine

none other than Google..

SEARCH EQUATION
Every day their are more than lakhs and crores of searches were performed .
I even mentioned about this particular thing in my previous blog
Power of internet
and comming to the point. Have ever think how the search is performed in search engine

May be some of you think its easy because whatever you typed it gives result in fraction of seconds.
But their is lot of work done behind the screen
this is what i am going to explain you in this blog enhance your master(brain) by reading

HOW SEARCH ENGINE WORKS :

  • Crawling And Indexing
  • Algorithms
  • Fighting spam
These were the main things that takes place during the searching process

CRAWLING AND INDEXING :
Search starts with the web. It's made up of over 60  trillion individual pages and it's constantly growing. Google navigates the web by crawling.
"The perfect search engine would understand what you mean and give back exactly what you want"
when you started typing your need on Google it immediately searches the whole pages present in the web with the particular words you have types and mark up the required websites
once the pages were ready it starts sorting the pages by their content and other factors
And they keep track of it all in the index. its over 100 million gigabytes.

ALGORITHMS:

They write programs & formulas to deliver the best results possible

Algorithms get to work looking for clues to better understand what you mean.

  1.  Spellings
  2.  Auto complete
  3.  Search methods
  4.  Synonyms
  5.  Query Understanding
  6.  Google instant

Based on these clues, we pull relevant documents from INDEX.and then they rank the results using over 200 factors all this happens in 1/8th of a second
these algorithms are changed frequently and these changes are used as the new ideas and the search evaluators take these ideas and run experiments, analyze the results, tweak them, and run them again and again.
results can take a variety of forms
 Knowledge Graph,Snippets,Videos,Images,Refinements,Voice Search

 FIGHTING SPAM:
Google search engine fight spam 24/7 to keep your results relevant.
The majority of spam removal is automatic. They examine other questionable documents by hand. If they find spam, they take manual action.
When they take action, they attempt to notify the website owners.Site owners can fix their sites and let them know.

This is how search engine is performed
By the way,in this span of reading this article approximately 2,787,350 searches were performed.

Thanks for reading i hope this made you little bit understandable about how search engine works

LOGO OF JAVA

Posted By: Sai Srikanth Avadhanula - 13:45
Dear who ever is reading this are u ready to know the secret history behind the LOGO OF JAVA

LOGO OF JAVA
Thinking whats there behind this CUP OF COFFEE ?

For a while let's go to 1990's

There is a company called Sun Microsystems. most of the consumer electronics like cable set-top boxes, VCR's, toasters and also for personal digital assistants (PDAs)were produced here

Everything is going good and the problem arises at the programming part that should be written for the products

for example let us take a VCR player. apart from the hardware, code should be written for the player to play, stop, forward, backward
to write that particular program the company hire's programmers and payed them a lot

since at that time all the programming languages are platform independent. The programmers code is only suitable to that particular set of devices. if the programmers writes code for SONY it only works for that and the same program doesn't work on other devices like INTEL,PHILIPS

Its really tough task for the company to hire programmer every time and to pay them with heavy amounts

At that time James Gosling of Sun Microsystems started a secret project to develop a platform dependent language. so that it reduces time and cost

In 1990 he started a secret project with his four friends called GREEN TEAM. Whose aim was to create a programming tool that could render obsolete the C and C++ programming languages.
Finally in 1991 they created a new programming language with the basis of OOPS concept
and named it as 'OAK' after the tree that stood outside his office.

From then they started to advertise their language by giving seminars to professors and students in different colleges
According to them the advantages of the programming language are :-

  •   be simple and gather tested fundamentals and features from the earlier languages in it,
  •   be platform independent and may written for every platform once (giving birth to the WORA idiom),
  •  be able to manipulate network programming out-of-the-box,
  •   be embeddable in web browsers, and
  •   have the ability for a single program to multi-task and do multiple things at the same time.

Parallel to this the "WorldWideWeb" introduced in the same time and to access internet a Web brower is requried and at that time Netscape Navigator is the only web browser.

To show the advantages of this new programming language the green team asked the Netscape corporation to pulgin their software. But they rejected the proposal

Since they have no other option they wrote a code for a web browser and named it as APPLET and showed the world how usefull their OAK Language is

in 1994 case was filed that OAK name's rights were under someother company and they have to change the name at that time they were thinking what name should be kept .
the green team are sitting in a cafe and drinking java coffee all of a sudden they decided to name it as 'JAVA' and logo as 'CUP OF COFFEE'

CAPTCHA

Posted By: Sai Srikanth Avadhanula - 02:09

"CAPTCHA"  EVER HEARD ABOUT THIS

But every person who deals with a computer and works more on internet can frequently find this CAPTCHA in their middle of their work
Thinking what it is ??

Don't worry much.I will explain u.

When you are filling details for an website to sign-in or when you are commenting on  a official website articals you will come across with this.

Still confused .
                                           WATCH THIS
CAPTCHA
Hope you understand what i am talking about.

  •  Do you know what CAPTCHA is ?
  •  Did you know for what reason it is used ?
  •  Why this software is implemented in this particular field ?

Hope you never think of this CAPTCHA ..!
======================================================================
 Lets get started

CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart)  some people call this as HIP(Human Interaction Proof)

Its somewhat difficult to understand the zigzag aligned words. we can refresh to get a new set of words in some cases where we cannot understand the words we can listen by pressing sound key. We cannot go further without entering the words in the given space
What is the purpose behind the "captcha" why this much of importance is giving to it
  • To differentiate between the computers and human there is an automated turning test is conducted and this is know as CAPTCHA
Some of you can ask a question that what will happen if computer didn't differentiate them ?
even i arise the same doubt when i am trying to know the use of captcha
  • There are many programmers who can write a code and give to computer so that it can perform itself the given commands until the user defined it to stop without the help of the human.
  • If a programmer write a code of creating a Gmail account and gives to a manual it creates a Gmail account with in 30 seconds
  • If he did same thing for infinite times it conducts actions repeatedly and create more and more accounts and within one day the Gmail database is going to get crash
  • This type of things cannot be done by every person but only by experts. one hacker is enough to crash entire website

Hence captcha is used.

In this the words are damn curved and in a random way. where a computer cannot understand and it is designed as if only human can understand

If captcha is given in a text format again their a chance for the hackers to develop the code of copy&paste. Hence it is given in a image format

captch technology is running on the base of reCAPTCHA program
This reCAPTCHA  program is totally done by humans hence some people are recurited for this job
