Here i am going to explain you how to root Samsung Galaxy y Duos(S6102)

The root access method is same for maximum mobile phones but the reason behind explaining in this particular mobile is i experimentally tried in my personal mobile which is Samsung Galaxy y Duos(S6102)

Before getting started i am going to mention some advantages by rooting your cellular device
"Rooting" your Android phone gives you numerous benefits
  • Superuser is an special applications that can only  be run on a rooted Android phone. This allows you to control which apps have access to the "root" system.
  • When you install an app on your phone, it is stored on the phone's memory. "Rooting" allows you to move installed applications to your SD card, thus freeing up system memory for additional files or apps.
  • There are hundreds of custom ROM's that can do anything from speeding up the processing speed of your phone to changing the entire look and feel of your phone.
So hope you enjoyed reading the advantages of rooting. So what are you waiting for lets get started

    Before You Begin
  • Back up everything you feel is important before you begin.
  • Make sure you have charged your device to 75% or more before you begin.

    Necessary Downloads

  •    update.zip [File attached to this post] CLICK HERE
  •    unroot.zip [File attached to this post] CLICK HERE
    Rooting the Galaxy Y Duos
  •     Connect your device to your PC using a micro USB cable and copy the update.zip file you downloaded above to your SD card (Do not put it into any sub folders, just the main folder so the path is sdcard/update.zip).
  •      Power down your device and put it into recovery mode.  To do this, press and hold the Volume Up + Home + Power keys until you see the Samsung Galaxy Y logo and let them go after that.
  •     Use the Volume buttons to highlight “select update.zip from sdcard” and press the home button to select it.
  •     On the next screen, select update.zip, and then select Yes on the next screen.
  •     Once the flashing is done, go back to the main menu and reboot your device.
That’s it!  Your Galaxy Y Duos is now rooted!

And finally i am going to tell you some important matter like as pro's they are also con's in this rooting
be-aware of it those are

  • Once your phone is rooted it immediately voids your phone's warranty so you are doing this on your own
  • Rooting involves the risk of "bricking" your phone-In essence, a "bricked" phone is no better than carrying around a brick in your pocket. The phone is dead when it has been "bricked."

so be care full and once your phone is rooted you can experience a good interface
